Oswald Renzi

   ROEBLING – Oswald “Les” Renzi, age 87 of Roebling, died Nov. 27 in Samaritan Hospice, Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly.
   Mr. Renzi was born in Burlington, and was the son of the late Nazareno and Eusebia Bedetta Renzi. He resided in Burlington before moving to Roebling in 1945. Mr. Renzi was a retired Roll Turner, employed by John A. Roebling and Sons C.F.andI. for 34 years. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Renzi was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion Post 39, Opre Larson VFW Post 8838, Burlington Country Club and the WW II PT Boaters Association.
   Husband of the late Mary Cronin Renzi, brother of the late Anne, Sandra and Esther and grandfather of the late Lance Renzi, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Valerie Renzi of Roebling; two grandchildren and spouses Audra and Shawn Troy of Raleigh, N.C., and Dana and Robert Annese of Delran; great grandchild Alison Annese; brother-in-law Edward Aja of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held Friday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Mass of Christian Burial was at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling with Rev. Albert Ricciardelli officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery. American Legion and VFW services were conducted during the calling hours.
