    Jill Blandford Vincent of Princeton died Tuesday at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 71.
   Born in Danbury, Essex, England, she was raised in Egypt, the Suez Canal zone, South Africa and Germany and returned to England to complete her education. She was presented to Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1956.
   It was her experience working at Attingham Park in Shrewsbury, England, where she met many Americans, which lead her to emigrate to the U.S.
   She resided in Princeton for the last 44 years.
   Mrs. Vincent managed Palmer House, the Princeton University guest house for 30 years until her retirement.
   She was an active member of Nassau Presbyterian Church, having served as a deacon and as a participant in the bell choir.
   She was on the board of the North Princeton Developmental Center for many years and also was active in the parents association of the Princeton Day School.
   Daughter of the late Lt. Col. Norman Blandford and Joan Roy Blandford, she is survived by her husband, Alexander B. Vincent Jr. of Princeton; daughter and son-in-law Virginia and Dorsey Sayer of Chestnut Hill, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law Alexander and Jessica Vincent III of Yardley, Pa.; brother Robin Blandford of Shanty Bay, Ontario; and grandchildren Alexander IV, Catherine and Timothy Jr.
   Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau St., Princeton, followed by a reception at the Nassau Club of Princeton.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Fund for Women & Girls at the Princeton Area Community Foundation, 15 Princess Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
   Arrangements are by Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
