MANVILLE Kathryn Petrock died Dec. 1, 2007 at home. She was 92.
Born in Johnstown, Pa., she had been a Manville resident for 67 years.
Mrs. Petrock worked for Johns-Manville during the 1930s and 1940s and later, she and her late husband were the owner/operators of Ted’s Market in Manville for many years. Mrs. Petrock semi-retired from the business in 1986.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Hillsborough, and a honorary member of the Holy Name Society at the church.
Her husband, Theodore Petrock Sr., died in 1971; and two sons, Charles and Theodore Petrock Jr. are deceased.
Surviving are her son, Frank of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one sister, Pauline Ruzicka of South Plainfield; one stepbrother Steve; a step sister, Ann; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Dec. 7 from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
