Princeton Borough
   Jason Scott Perez, 25, of Gloucester City was charged with burglary and theft at 12:44 p.m. on Tuesday. Mr. Perez was arrested after an investigation revealed he entered a private residence on Franklin Avenue and took a diamond wedding ring valued at $8,000, which was in a jewelry box in the victim’s bedroom, police said. Investigation also revealed that Mr. Perez had been working in the area installing fiber optic cables for several days prior to the incident, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance. Residents who recently found property missing after having contracted similar work in which the installers entered their homes should call Detective Chris Tash at 609-921-8108.
   Mario Contreras Calderon, 25, of Philadelphia was charged with hindering apprehension at 9:33 p.m. Saturday following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Road. Mr. Calderon was arrested after he gave a false name to officers and was also found to be in possession of a fraudulent insurance card, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
   Glenn Ferguson Jr., 21, of Trenton, was arrested at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant of $418 from New Brunswick Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Olden Street. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
   Abdelaziz Elbadoui, 34, of Franklin Park was arrested at 10:48 a.m. Thursday on a warrant of $250 from Montgomery Township Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Witherspoon Street. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
   Daniel Sheehan, 33, of Deptford was arrested at 4:06 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant of $113 from Sea Isle City Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Road. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.
Montgomery
   Richard J. Manfre Jr., 24, of South Plainfield was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop for an obstructed view violation at 11:57 a.m. Nov. 30, police said. Following the stop, heroin was discovered inside his vehicle, according to the report. Mr. Manfre was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstructed view, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was processed at police headquarters and released pending a court date.
West Windsor
   A Monmouth man was arrested after he struck another patron at Best Buy at the Nassau Park shopping center, following a verbal argument at 7:30 p.m. Monday, police said. Matthew Fitzgerald, 30, was charged with disorderly conduct after police said they reviewed store security video that showed the incident. He was also charged with having prescription medicine in an unmarked bottle.
   A Princeton juvenile was charged with shoplifting after attempting to steal two MP3 players with a total value of $210 from Best Buy at the Nassau Park shopping center around 9 p.m. Monday. Police said he attempted to cut the items from their packaging while in the store.
   Police said someone stole a General Electric stainless steel dishwasher and exhaust hood with a total value of $1,450 from a Toll Brothers home under construction on Caleb Lane off of Meadow Road. Police said the theft took place between Nov. 30 and Monday.
   Jeremiah Ives, 25, of Trenton was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop on southbound Route 1 and Quakerbridge Road at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday.
   Tykia Mickle, 18, and two juveniles, all Trenton residents, were arrested about 6 p.m. Tuesday after they attempted to steal $905 in women’s lingerie from the Kohl’s store at the Nassau Park shopping center, police reported.
   Camille Thomas, 21, of Philadelphia was charged with possession of the drug PCP following a motor vehicle stop on southbound Route 1 at Nassau Park Boulevard at 9 p.m. Tuesday. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Lanah Chou, 18, of Cranbury was charged with underage driving while intoxicated after becoming involved in a car accident at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 30 at Clarksville and Meadow roads. Police at the scene smelled the odor of alcohol coming from his breath and gave Mr. Chou a sobriety test, which he failed, according to the report. He was also charged with reckless driving.
   The front door of a Claridge Court home was pried open between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 and an assortment of jewelry was taken, police said.
   Mark Ruffin, 43, of Trenton was arrested the afternoon of Nov. 30 for shoplifting after he pushed a shopping cart out the front door of Target at the Nassau Park shopping center with three DVD players, valued at $278, police reported.
   Amina Elshobary, 70, of South Brunswick was arrested for shoplifting after she attempted to steal $191 in merchandise from Kohl’s at the Nassau Park shopping center about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
   Karon Henderson, 35, of South Brunswick was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and reckless driving after his car was stopped on Old Trenton Road near Mercer County Community College at 3 a.m. Saturday.
   Three Trenton juveniles were charged with shoplifting at 1 p.m. Saturday after they concealed $376 in clothing and attempted to walk out of the Wal-Mart at Nassau Park Shopping Center, police said.
   Aiesha Robinson, 33, of Plainsboro was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane after police said they pulled her car over after observing it swerve on northbound Route 1 about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
   Rosa Arias, 40, Luis Bermeo, 22, and Maribell Bermeo, 20, all of Trenton, were charged with shoplifting at the Kohl’s store at Nassau Park shopping center Sunday afternoon after they concealed $500 in merchandise and attempted to walk out of the store, police said.
Plainsboro
   A Plainsboro resident was a victim of credit card fraud after someone charged $1,326 on the victim’s debit and credit cards in Houston and Los Angeles for unknown merchandise. The case is under investigation.
Twelve empty beer kegs were stolen from the rear of the Ruby Tuesday restaurant on Route 1 between 6 p.m. Nov. 30 and 4 p.m. Saturday. A padlock binding the kegs had been cut, police said. The case is under investigation.
   Two men were charged with drug and alcohol offences after the vehicle they were traveling in was stopped on southbound Route 1 near Scudders Mill Road at 12:58 a.m. Saturday. An investigation showed the driver to be intoxicated and the passenger to be in possession of marijuana, police said. Timothy Siplin, 19, of Hamilton was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, underage consumption of alcohol and possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Mr. Siplin was transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in default of $10,000 cash bail. George Mason, 19, of Trenton was charged with underage driving while intoxicated, speeding, reckless driving and failure to produce registration. He was released on his own recognizance.
   Approximately $4,400 in items were stolen from a Sayre Drive residence between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, police reported.
