Agnes D. Kistler, 88, of Monmouth Junction, died Sunday, Dec. 9, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Hazleton, Pa., and a Monmouth Junction resident for over 55 years, Ms. Kistler retired in 1981 from New Brunswick Children’s Coat Factory with over 24 years of service. She was an active member of several clubs at the South Brunswick Senior Center, a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the Golden Age Club. Ms. Kistler was known by many people for her extraordinary sewing talents.
Her husband, Clair T. Kistler, is deceased. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank D. Kistler of West Monroe, La., and David C. and Alice Kistler of Hamilton Square; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Harold J. Heinz of Monroe, five grandchildren, Heather Crone, Laura Beck, David C. Kistler Jr., Carrie Heinz and Meggan Heinz; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Thursday), Dec. 13, at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miller Memorial Presbyterian Church, P.O.
