EWING TOWNSHIP Clara Trachtenberg, 79, died Dec. 4 at the Capital Health System Fuld Campus.
Born in New York City, she had resided in this area for most of her life. Ms. Trachtenberg had been employed by the state Department of Labor for over 50 years before her retirement. She was a former member of Anshe Emes Congregation, Deborah and Hadassah. She had done countless hours of volunteer work over the years.
Wife of the late Alex Trachtenberg, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Phoebe Herman of West Windsor and Leon and Estele Herman of Chesterfield; three sisters, Miriam Mayer of Chesterfield, Sara Maggin of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Martha Cohen of Fort Pierce, Fla.
Funeral services were held last Tuesday at Trenton Young Judea Cemetery in Hamilton Township. Arrangements were under the direction of Riverside Memorial Chapels, 1310 Prospect St., Ewing Township.
