Wayne Elmer Gens

   HAMILTON – Wayne Elmer Gens, 83, died Dec. 5 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
   Born in Forestville, N.Y., he was an area resident most of his life. Mr. Gens was a retired operator-engineer with Local 825. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in Guadalcanal.
   Mr. Gens is survived by his wife Mary Louise Porter Gens of Yardville; his son Wayne E. and wife Peggy A. Gens of Bordentown and his daughter Cynthia E. Gens of Annapolis, Md.; three grandchildren, Ryan and wife Kati Gens, Matthew Gens and Jonathan Gens.
   A memorial service was held Saturday at the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert M. Wecht, pastor of the Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating.
