Anna Ralston Blackwell Edling

   Anna Ralston Blackwell Edling, 97, of Goodland, Kan., died Dec. 11 at Wheat Ridge Acres Retirement Community in Goodland.
   The memorial service and interment will be in Hopewell Township, after Christmas at a date not yet determined.
   Born March 26, 1910, in Glenmore (Hopewell Township), she was the daughter of Clifton Warren Blackwell and Sadie Elizabeth (Titus) Blackwell. She attended Marshall’s Corner School in Hopewell Township and graduated in 1928 from Hopewell High School, Hopewell.
   On April 23, 1930, she and Otto G. Edling were married at her parent’s home in Hopewell.
   She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Brazil, Ind.
   Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Otto G. Edling, a son Warren Richard Edling, and two sisters Olive Blackwell Abbott and Helen Blackwell Hortman, she is survived by a daughter-in-law Joyce H. Edling of Towanda, Pa.; three granddaughters Carol Edling Jolly and husband Jay of Goodland, Kan., Lynn M. Edling of Peekskill, N.Y., Lorna M. Allison and husband Gerard of Douglassville, Pa.; six great-granddaughters Genevieve, Amanda, Victoria, Rebecca, Abigail, Rachel; and one great-great-granddaughter Eleanor Elisabeth.
   She loved baking, especially blueberry pie, and knitting.
   .In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Red Cross chapter of the donor’s choice, and may be mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, Kan., 67735-1555.
