Giving Tree supports agencies

The seventh annual Holiday Giving Tree program provides gifts and raises money for Fisherman’s Mark in Lambertville and FACT Bucks County.
Holiday Giving Trees are located at the Center Club Family Fitness and Wellness Center in Lambertville, Wachovia banks in New Hope and Lambertville, Sovereign Bank in Washington Crossing, the Lambertville Post Office and library, Baker’s Treat and the Medicine Shoppe in West Amwell.
Donors are asked to take a tag from the tree and purchase a gift card for a large retail department or grocery store or give a check or bank cash card donation to one or both charities.
Donations should be returned no later than Dec. 20 to the location where the tag originated or mailed directly to Center Club Chiropractic, Giving Tree Project, 80 Lambert Lane, Lambertville, 08530.
Donations will be delivered to each agency in time for the holidays.
Fisherman’s Mark is a social service agency serving Hunterdon and Bucks counties as well as five other New Jersey and Pennsylvania counties.
FACT Bucks County, Fighting Aids Continuously Together, cares for people with AIDS in Hunterdon and Mercer counties.
The goal is to raise $5,000 to support the work of these agencies.
All donors are eligible to receive a complimentary wellness work-up (a $250 value) at no obligation provided as a community public health service by Dr. Carleen Thum.
