Princeton Borough
Thomas Kynkal, 33, of Plainsboro was charged with driving while intoxicated 1:28 a.m. Sunday following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Road, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.
Maria Cubillo, 30, of Trenton, was charged with exhibiting a false government document at 9:50 a.m. Dec. 7 following a motor vehicle stop on Harrison Street. Ms. Cubillo was arrested after she produced a false driver’s license, police said. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on her own recognizance.
Bennie Tioga Smith, 55, of Trenton, was arrested 3:09 p.m. Dec. 7 on a warrant of $1,000 from Trenton Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.
Montgomery
A 15-year-old boy and his mother, both Trenton residents, reported on Monday that the boy was assaulted by a member of the Carrier Foundation’s staff at 8 p.m. Dec. 5 while he was staying at the clinic as a patient. The juvenile alleged that a cut to his ear, requiring five stitches was a result of the assault, police said. The incident is under investigation by the detective bureau.
The Carrier Foundation reported a 16-year-old female patient from Union threw a chair though a window at 3:46 p.m. Monday. Damage was placed at $100. Carrier staff separately reported the same patient punched and kicked another juvenile patient and two staff members at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 8. The patient and staff members suffered minor injuries from this incident, police said. Both incidents are being referred to Somerset County juvenile authorities for disposition.
Suzanne K. Calabro, 51, of Montgomery was issued a summons for careless driving after losing control of her car and striking a utility pole at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday on Route 518 near Cherry Hill Road while she was attempting to pull into her driveway, police reported. The pole was broken in half and fell to the ground.
Police reported a rear-end collision on Route 206 in front of the Montgomery Shopping Center about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. A 2005 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Jeffrey E. Davner, 40 of Montgomery was struck in the rear as he was stopped for a red light, police said. His vehicle was struck by a 2005 Honda Civic driven by Sylvia Saad, 19, of Hillsborough, police said. Ms. Saad sustained a bloody nose and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment. She was charged with careless driving.
Police said Mr. Davner was also arrested after it was determined that he was driving while intoxicated. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Michael J. Watsey, 31, of South River was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by South River Borough on Wednesday. Police said they stopped his vehicle for a tinted window violation and a Division of Motor Vehicles inquiry. He was released after posting bail.
West Windsor
A township man was arrested after police found marijuana during a motor vehicle stop Saturday. Police said they stopped Jeffrey Hanlon, 18, of Zeloof Drive at 9:30 p.m. for unclear plates and improper maintenance of lamps, and found him to be in possession of over 50 grams of marijuana. Mr. Hanlon was charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of open containers of alcohol, and possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Joy Ingram-Robinson 32, of Trenton was charged with shoplifting after attempting to take $670 in merchandise from Wal-Mart at the Nassau Park shopping center, police reported. She placed the items into empty Wal-Mart shopping bags and tried to leave the store at 8:15 p.m. Monday, police said.
