PU eating Club gets court deal in alcohol case

PRINCETON — An agreement  with Princeton Borough Municipal Court Judge Russell Annich could let the private student eating and social club Tiger Inn off the legal hook, if it is able to keep drinking at its parties under control.
Under the agreement,  the Tiger Inn is required to refrain from serving alcoholic beverages for the entire month of January. Additionally, if  the university-affiliated club succeeds in avoiding alcohol-related violations through June 2, a charge of serving alcoholic beverages to a minor, brought by the Princeton Borough Police in September, will be dismissed.
However; if some conviction does result from alcohol being served at a Tiger Inn function, a guilty plea on the club’s behalf  will be entered for the September incident.
