Fire equipment sale approved

By Audrey Levine Staff Writer
The Borough Council unanimously approved a resolution Monday to authorize the sale of certain fire equipment to the Central Volunteer Fire Department, in Pennsylvania, for the price of $1.
Councilman Theodore Petrock did not attend the meeting.
The sold equipment includes four trash pumps, 61 2,216-psi Scott bottles and several feet of different lengths of hose.
All the equipment will be sold as is, and the Pennsylvania Fire Department will handle removal of the equipment at its own expense.
