Aniello “Dan” Fariello

Mr. Fariello, 102, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 12, 2007, at home. Born in Pisciotta, Italy, he had resided in Freehold for most of his life. Mr. Fariello was a barber for 60 years and owned the American Barber Shop in Freehold. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. He was a member of the Italian-American Social Club and Elks Lodge 1454, both of Freehold. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane, in 1989; four brothers, Alfonso, Vito, Francesco and Antonio; and three sisters, Sophia, Josephine and Anna. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mia and Anthony Cipriano of Freehold; three brothers, Vincenzo, Carmine and Salvatore Fariello of Pisciotta; and two grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
