Helen E. Berman

Daughter lives in West Windsor
    SOMERSET — Helen E. Berman died Wednesday at Regency Heritage Care Center. She was 90.
   Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. Berman was a former resident of the Rossmoor adult community in Monroe Township and for the last six months Regency Heritage Care Center.
   Mrs. Berman was an office manager for Snyder Real Estate in Trumbull, Conn., before retiring. Following her retirement, she worked for many years with the Police Athletic League of Bridgeport where she worked with at-risk youth on after-school and athletic programs.
   She was former president of the Jewish War Veterans Women’s Auxiliary of Connecticut and a former Girl Scout leader in Bridgeport, Conn.
   An avid reader throughout her life, she enjoyed collecting books and building her own personal library.
   She was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport, Conn.
   Wife of the late Samuel Berman, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Alan Burger of West Windsor and grandchildren Benjamin, Sarah and Jessica Burger.
   A graveside service will be held noon today at Loyalty Cemetery, Fairfield, Conn.

   Arrangements are by Star of David Memorial Chapel, Princeton.
