Mr. Keller, 93, of Brick, died Jan. 12, 2007, at Burnt Tavern Rehabilitation Center, Brick. Born in Jersey City, he resided in Hazlet and Atlantic Highland prior to relocating to Brick 10 years ago. He was self-employed. Prior to that, he was employed with the U.S. Postal Service, and as an embroiderer at Keller Embroidering, Jersey City, for 39 years. He was also employed at Service Merchandise, Hazlet, during which time he received the Nation’s Oldest Employee Award. He served with the U.S. Army and Marine Reserve. He was a communicant of The Church of the Epiphany, Brick, and former communicant of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Highlands. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jeanie Krista Keller; and two brothers, Paul and Charles Keller. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Gioconda “Consort” Gallina; a son and daughter in-law, John and Marianne Gallina of Atlantic Highlands; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Craig Klafter of Manalapan, Nancy and Richard Fulcher of Jackson, and Sally and CharlesMcGuire of Georgia; and two grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Agnes Church. Burial was at Shoreland Memorial Park, Hazlet. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
