The Red Bank Catholic performing arts department has decided to “go green” for this year’s Coffee House Cabaret.
The show will be Jan. 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. and tickets are sold out.
The many “green” initiatives include seed packets instead of seek packets to preserve plants and trees; donated cloth tablecloths in place of paper and all costumes in the show are reused, remade and recycled.
Cabaret numbers depict what has happened, what is happening and what will happen to the Earth to raise awareness of the need to encourage sustainability.
Fifty percent of the night’s proceeds will be donated to an environmental group.
