ROBBINSVILLE A. James English Sr., 91, died Jan. 10 at the Gardens at Monroe in Monroe Township.
Born in Windsor, Mr. English was a longtime area resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He attended Newark Academy and graduated from the Pennsylvania Military College.
Mr. English retired as a plant engineer from the Roller Bearing Company of America in Trenton. The highlight of his career was the construction of Roller Bearing Plants in South Carolina; Ohio; and Limerick, Ireland. He was a Mason, Apollo Lodge F&AM, a Shriner, and a member of the Power Squadron. He was a long-time member of the Windsor United Methodist Church, where he was a past superintendent of the Sunday School and a member of the official board.
Mr. English loved spending time with his wife, family and friends at his cabin in Maine. He especially loved boating on Little Sebago Lake and taking his children and grandchildren fishing and water-skiing.
Son of the late James and Sadie English, husband of the late Marjorie (Taylor) English and brother of the late William English, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, A. James, Jr. and Clare English; daughter and son-in-law Nancy E. and Stephen J. Boguszewski; sister Marion Parfian of Florida; grandchildren Michael J. Boguszewski, James A., William C., Meghan C. and Mary Clare English; great-granddaughter LeeAnne Erin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Entombment was at Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum, Robbinsville.
