Irene M. Danysh

   MANVILLE – Irene M. Danysh died Jan. 19 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was 84.
   She was born in Englishtown, and was a resident of Manville for the past 67 years.
   She was a homemaker and had also worked in Building A at the Johns-Manville Corporation in Manville from 1945 to 1961.
   She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough.
   Her husband, Wasyel Danysh Sr., died in 1975; and a son, Wasyel (Sunny) M. Danysh Jr. is deceased.
   Survivors are sons, Peter A. of Oxford and Paul Danysh of Manville; daughters, Frances M. Tucker of Hardy, Va., Patricia L. Gluch of Hillsborough and Carol Smyth of Bethleham, Pa.; sisters, Annette Rosinski of Florida, Stacia Drotar of South Amboy and Aldona Schlottfeld of Sayreville; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
   The funeral was held Jan. 23 from the Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
