ROBBINSVILLE John J. Woloszyn, 92, died Jan. 12 at CareOne at Hamilton.
Born in New York City, his earliest years were spent in Philadelphia, where his father owned a delicatessen. While still in grammar school, his family purchased a farm in the Allentown area. There, for the first time, he was confronted with an English-speaking school, adding to his fluency in three languages.
His lifetime career took place at Delaval in Trenton, starting as a machinist and retiring as a division supervisor. He was a member of St. John’s Church in Allentown.
Predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Joan S. Woloszyn (nee Ozeredzuk), he is survived by sister Agnes Skeba of Hightstown; brother Michael Woloszyn of Trenton; sons John J. Woloszyn of Baltimore, Md., and Dr. Donald R. Woloszyn of Richmond, Maine; daughter Anne Bennett of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren Andrea Kully, John C., Peter F., Laurel, Rachel and Becky Woloszyn, Kara, Shelby and Carson Bennett; and great-grandchild Andrew Parker Kully.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at St. John’s Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown. Internment followed in the parish cemetery.
