Adult Book Discussion Group: Open to the public. Meets 7:30 p.m. on the first Monday of every month, except for holidays. Request books at the information desk and allow a minimum of two weeks for delivery. The next meeting will be Feb. 4 to discuss “Blood and Thunder: An Epic of the American West” by Hampton Sides.

Meditation group: The Mindfulness Meditation Group will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. The group will practice meditation in various forms, do light reading and have discussions. The group is open to all and no registration is required.
Anime Club: Watch and discuss anime on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the library’s Meeting Room A. 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Open to all sixth- through 12th-graders. Creative writing group: Teen writers are invited to share their poems, songs, stories and other written works with one another. Homework Buddies: Tutoring program staffed by local teens and designed to help kindergartners through fifth-graders. Math and spelling drills, reading practice and general homework assistance. Images of America: South Brunswick: Copies of “Images of America: South Brunswick,” by Maria Kotun are available at the South Brunswick Public Library. The book includes more than 200 images portraying the history of South Brunswick. The books are $19.99 each and are available at the circulation desk.
