FLORENCE Patricia Ann Dennison (nee Sexton), 65, of Florence, died Saturday at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly.
Born in Riverside, she grew up in Burlington City and graduated from St. Paul’s School and Burlington City High School. She had been a Florence resident for the past 43 years. She worked as a clerk in the Hub office at Sears Burlington Center for 28 years, retiring in 2004.
The oldest of six children, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Kalinowski) Sexton and the sister of the late John Sexton Jr., who died in December.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David; her children, Peggy of Westampton, Amy of Edgewater Park, and David of Florence; and her grandson, Stephen David Cutts of Westampton. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Warren of Burlington Township, Mary Eberhart and Barbara Montalto of Florence; her brother Edward Sexton of Tabernacle; her aunt and uncle, Tillie and Norman Reed of Delran; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Betsy Dennison of Palmyra, John Dennison of Burlington Township, Richard Dennison of Florence, Bruno Massari of Bordentown, Jane Sexton of Burlington City, and Eugene Montalto of Florence; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call today, Thursday, at 9:30 a.m. at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clare’s Church, 232 E. Front St., Florence. Internment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Following the graveside services, all are invited to a funeral luncheon at the Roma Club, Lincoln Ave., Burlington City.
