LONG BRANCH- Two city men were arrested last week for a string of burglaries and thefts, as the result of an investigation by Long Branch police.
On Jan. 16, police arrested and charged Cesar Paulo Gonsalves, 33, of Lippincott Avenue and Ronaldo Dasilva Lopes, 25, of Jackson Street with several counts of burglary and theft to motor vehicles and private homes, according to police reports.
An investigation into the burglary and theft of a local business led Long Branch police to the accused, according to reports.
Further investigation led to the seizure of approximately $75,000 worth of stolen proceeds, according to police reports, which state that the stolen proceeds include DJ equipment, flooring tools, power tools, jewelry, clothing and video games.
The men are accused of burglarizing vehicles, work vans, businesses and private residences, according to reports.
The suspects were transported toMonmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold Township. Bail was set at $75,000 with no 10 percent option for each of the accused, according to reports.
