NORTH MASAPEQUA, N.Y. — Thomas S. Fitzgerald died Jan. 11. He was 81.
He lived in Hawthorne, N.Y., before becoming a long time resident of North Masapequa.
Mr. Fitzgerald worked in the aerospace industry at both Arma and Sperry for over 40 years.
He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and Korea.
Surviving are his wife, Winifred Fitzgerald; seven children, Winifred of Hillsborough, Thomas, James, Patricia, Robert, Daniel and Gerald; 19 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A funeral Mass was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seafort, Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
Arrangements were under the direction of William E. Law Funeral Home in Massapequa, N.Y.
