Carol B. Steinberg

Former Princeton resident
    MISSOLULA, Mont. — Carol Bruber Steinberg died of cancer Wednesday at a nursing home in Missoula. She was 74.
   She was a former Princeton resident.
   Born in St. Paul, Minn., she attended Carleton College and the University of Minnesota.
   In 1956, she married Malcolm S. Steinberg and moved to Baltimore with him, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from McCoy College and The Johns Hopkins University.
   In 1966 they moved to Princeton. After a divorce in 1982, she left Princeton and spent the last five years in Missoula.
   She is survived by a son, Jeffery, of Hinsdale, Ill.; daughters Julie of Turner’s Falls, Mass., Eleanor of Missoula and Catherine of Oakland, Calif.; brother Bradley of St. Louis Park, Minn.; and grandchildren Natalie and Benjamin.
