Mrs. Kluchinik, 86, ofManalapan, died Jan. 23, 2008, in Jackson. She spent most of her childhood in Lithuania and immigrated to the United States in 1947. Mrs. Kluchinik was involved in many Lithuanian organizations and activities while living in Elizabeth and also briefly taught at St. Peter and Paul’s School in Elizabeth. She enjoyed music, nature, gardening, traveling, and spending summer vacations at the Franciscan Monastery in Kennebunkport, Maine. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Gilbert; a son, John Kluchinik of Elizabeth; three daughters, DaivaAmantea ofManalapan, Lucy Furmanec of Millstone Township and Ruth Parsons of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan, followed by interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
