Mrs. Rockwell, 86, of Middletown, died Jan. 23, 2008, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided in West Long Branch prior to relocating toMiddletown in 1948. She was predeceased by a sister, Florence Elkovics. She is survived by her husband, Fred Rockwell; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Rockwell, and a daughter, Cathy Rooney, all of the Belford section of Middletown; a brother, Harry Brown of the New Monmouth section of Middletown; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial was at Fair View Mausoleum,Middletown.Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
