YMCA hosts Valentine’s dance for active adults

RED BANK- On Saturday, Feb. 9, The Community YMCA in Red Bank is hosting its first Valentine’s Dance Party for active older adults and their guests in the community.

Developed by the Y’s Active Older Adult (AOA) Committee, the event will include dinner, dancing with instruction, music by Bob Paddack’s Big Band, prizes and more.

The Valentine’s dance, along with other special events throughout the year, is part of the YMCA’s commitment to providing programming that meets the needs and interests of members over 55.

The event is open to the public and is scheduled to run from 5-9 p.m. at the Children’s Cultural Center, 51 Monmouth St., Red Bank. Tickets are $12, and tables for six to eight can be reserved. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to theYMCAStrong Kids Campaign, which funds YCares financial assistance for children and families in Monmouth County.
