Mary M. Tkacs Yurcisin

   ROEBLING — Mary M. Tkacs Yurcisin, 81, died Saturday at her residence.
   Ms. Yurcisin was born in Trenton, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Yano Tkacs. She resided in Roebling since 1953.
   She and her late husband were the proprietors of Basil’s Vacuum Cleaner Sales in the Columbus Farmer’s Market for many years. She was also employed by Atlantic Products, Trenton and the Florence Cleaners.
   Ms. Yurcisin was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling, and the Ladies Guild & Festival Committee of the church.
   Wife of the late Basil Yurcisin, sister of the late Betty Wilhelm, and sister-in-law of the late Very Rev. Msgr. John and Pani Anna, Michael, Richard, George, Ed, Helen, and Anna Yurcisin, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Basil M. and Eva Yurcisin of Granite City, Ill.; daughter, Mary Ann Yurcisin of Princeton; son, Gregory Yurcisin of Roebling; sister, Helen Costentino Schopp of Trenton; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Dr. B.J. Yurcisin, Shannon and Chris Wills, Eric and Michelle Yurcisin, Faith and Scott Morgan, Joshua, Todd and Nayeli, Dustin, Alexander (Misha) and Candice, Tia, and Brett; in-laws, Mary, Nicholas, Joseph and Norma, Patricia, Nelia, Peter, Dr. Daniel and Lynne Yurcisin, Ann and Harry Koehnlein, Dr. Robert and Evelyn Houston; and many nieces, nephews and cousins including Lisa Wilhelm and Kyle.
   The funeral will be today, Thursday, at 10 a.m. at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling. Office of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling with the Rev. Gregory Noga officiating. Parastas services were held Wednesday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
