Jean Fletcher
   EAST AMWELL — Jean Dudbridge Fletcher, 84, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.
   Born in Lambertville, she was the daughter of the late Emma Milnor and Watson Fell Dudbridge.
   She was employed 20 years with Rockwell International in Hopewell. Her last seven years of employment were as a trained home health aide in the Princeton area.
   She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and the East Amwell Senior Citizens group.
   She was the widow of John E. Fletcher, to whom she was married for 64 years, and sister of the late Dora Alice Sharp, Bertha McClellan, William Kenneth Dudbridge and Charles J. Dudbridge, all formerly of Lambertville.
   Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Jean Stires of Hopewell and Patricia Anne and Jack French of Castle Rock, Colo.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest Hart and Christa Fletcher of Flemington; eight grandchildren, Kenneth B. Temple and his wife, Meg, of Palm Bay, Fla., Ernest R. Stires of Trenton, Lisa Stires Ziegler of Hatboro, Pa., Brian David Stires and his wife, Tara, of Perkasie, Pa., Kevin Troy Temple and his wife, Julia, of Anchorage, Alaska, Curtiss John Stires of Plumsteadville, Pa., Angelique Sinka and her husband, Eric, of Hellertown, Pa., and Victoria Campbell and her husband, Kirk, of Springhill, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren, Korrine E. Ziegler of Clinton, Conn., Brianna Suydam of Springhill, Fla., Curtiss and Logan Stires of Plumsteadville, Pa., Robert Campbell of Springhill, Fla., Sarai Madison Stires of Perkasie, Pa., and Alexis Nicole Temple of Anchorage; and a sister and brother-in-law, Audrey Marie and Herman Werner of Lambertville.
   A memorial service was held Sunday at the church with the Rev. Dr. K.A. Robinson officiating. Funeral services were held Monday at Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, Hopewell. Burial was in Harbourton Cemetery.
James Durborow
   KINGWOOD — James “Doc” Durborow Sr., 74, died Monday, Feb. 18, at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital.
   Born in Milford, N.J., Mr. Durborow was raised in Lambertville and lived in Kingwood Township since 1988.
   He was a veteran of the Army, serving during and after the Korean Conflict.
   He was a former member of the Lambertville Moose Lodge, a member of American Legion Post 120 in Lambertville and a member of the White Tail Gun Club in Lambertville.
   He retired from General Motors in Ewing Township in 1992 as a master machinist after 38 years of employment.
   He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Rhelda Hungridge Durborow and uncle of the late Bruce Rossiter.
   Surviving are his wife, Dessie Mike Durborow; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Marcel Chouteau of New Hope; one son and daughter-in-law, James H. and Lynne Durborow Jr. of Wilmington, Del.; one sister, Marie Rossiter of Lambertville; two grandchildren, Ciera Durborow and Henry Chouteau; two nephews, William and his wife, Eileen Rossiter, and Stephen Milonas; two nieces, Deborah Oristaglio and her husband, Mark, and Christina McNamee and her husband, Chuck; and several cousins.
   Funeral services were held Friday at the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. Burial followed in the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Township.
   American Legion services were held Feb. 21.

Catherine Kranish
   LAMBERTVILLE — Catherine “Catie” T. Mullen Kranish, 99, of Lambertville died Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
   Born in Lambertville, Mrs. Kranish lived most of her life in the city.
   She worked at Ledger’s Inn and the Lambertville Rubber Mill and as a domestic.
   She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Lambertville.
   She was the widow of the late William Kranish and daughter of the late Michael and Teresa Palo Mullen.
   She is survived by her nieces and nephews, including Patricia Maldonado, Evelyn Terrani, Arlyce Mullen, Peggy Schenck, Betty Agin, Barbara Coles, Joseph Mullen, Edward Mullen, Richard Mullen, Albert Mullen, Michael Yannarella, Benjamin Yannarella and Charles Yannarella; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville. Burial followed at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Lambertville.
Brenda Millhimes
   RINGOES — Brenda Lee Barrick Millhimes, 45, of Ringoes died Monday, Feb. 18, at home.
   Born in Raritan Township, she was the daughter of E. David and Harriet Rauschert Barrick of Ringoes. She was a longtime resident of Ringoes.
   A 1980 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, she went on to receive her bachelor’s of arts degree in business administration from William Paterson University.
   For six years, she was a biller and secretary for American Housing, Frenchtown. For 28 years, she was a floral designer for Schaffernoth’s Florist, Ringoes.
   Most recently she was operations supervisor at Border’s Books and Music in Flemington.
   She was a member of the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell and treasurer of Amwell Ridge Cemetery.
   A daughter, Erin Elizabeth Millhimes, died in 1992.
   Surviving besides her parents are her husband, Joey Dean Millhimes; a daughter, Korinne Rose Millhimes; a son, Jacob Cody Millhimes; a brother and sister-in-law, David Charles and Ashley Barrick of Stockton; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Friday at the church under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial followed in Amwell Ridge Cemetery.

Robert Whitlock Sr.
   HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP — Robert G. Whitlock Sr., 85, of Hopewell Township died Sunday, Feb. 24, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born and raised in Rocky Hill, he had lived in Hopewell for 50 years.
   He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad, which became Penn Central, then Conrail and finally Amtrak, as a train announcer for more than 40 years.
   A veteran of World War II, he served in the 36th Army Infantry in the European Theater. He was captured at the Battle of Monte Casino in Italy and remained a prisoner of war for 18 months before being liberated.
   He was a member of the Hopewell Valley American Legion Post 339.
   He was the widower of Antoinette Leoncavallo Whitlock, who died Aug. 2, 2007, and brother of the late Raymond E. Whitlock and Anna Dorothy Whitlock.
   Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Dan Malek of West Amwell Township and Donna and Allen Perrine of Pennington; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert G. Whitlock Jr. and Angela of North Wales, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Michelle Flynn, Melissa Malek, Jessica Whitlock, Meg Perrine, Lisa, Christina and Rebecca Whitlock; three great-grandchildren, Daniel, Kyle and Hunter Flynn; a nephew, Raymond “Toby” Whitlock; and a niece, Hope Lovering of Rocky Hill.
   Funeral services will be held today (Feb. 28) at 10 a.m. from the Wilson- Apple Funeral Home followed by burial in Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Lawrence Graiver
   LANGHORNE, Pa. — Lawrence “Laurie” Graiver, 83, of Langhorne, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 25, after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s.
   Born in New York City, he resided in Levittown and Lower Makefield, then Langhorne for most of his life.
   He retired in 1985.
   He grew up on Long Island in a foster home run by the Gardner family.
   He joined the Navy in 1943, seeing action in the Pacific and earning the American Theater Ribbon, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon, the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon and the Victory Ribbon. He was honorably discharged in December 1945.
   Following discharge, he began his studies to become an aeronautical engineer at Cal Poly Tech in San Luis Obispo, Calif., receiving his degree in 1950.
   He was self-employed for most of his life in the food service industry. He began running pizza stands in the area farmer markets, eventually opening his own restaurant in 1968 called Under the Pier in Levittown-Edgely, Pa., which he ran with his business partner until his retirement in 1984.
   He was the widower of Shirley Leibman Graiver, his wife of 44 years, father of the late Neil Graiver; son of the late Hershel “Harry” Graiver and Zesel Lerman and brother of the late Seymour Graiver and Ruth Scuglia.
   Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Glenn Cychowski of Langhorne; his son, Doug, and his partner, Matt, of Lambertville; and three grandchildren, Andrew and Lindsay Cychowski of Langhorne and Luke of Lambertville.
   A memorial will be held today (Feb. 28) at 11 a.m. at King David Memorial Park, Bensalem, Pa. Meet at the cemetery office prior to services.
   Following those services, there will be a gathering at his daughter’s home.
