Derek Hoedl, 25, of West Windsor was charged with driving while intoxicated at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Road, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on his own recognizance.
Juan Armas, 19, of Trenton was charged with hindering apprehension at 10:45 a.m. March 7 following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Road, police said. Mr. Armas was arrested when he gave a fictitious name and date of birth to an officer, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on bail.
William Stratton, 20, of Richmond, Va., was charged with shoplifting at 3:18 a.m. Saturday following a criminal investigation at the Wawa store, 140 University Place, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on his own recognizance.
Elliot Gattuso, 24, of Pilesgrove was arrested at 2:56 p.m. Monday on a warrant of $165 from South Harrison Municipal Court following a motor vehicle accident investigation in the Tulane West parking lot, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on bail.
Alyssa Bennett, 26, of Hamilton was arrested at 5:37 p.m. Monday on a warrant of $584 from South Brunswick Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street, police said. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on bail.
Montgomery
Brian S. Kaplan, 37, of Blackwood was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license after his car was stopped in the Village Shopper on Route 206 about 12:03 p.m. Monday, police reported. His 1999 Toyota Camry was pulled over after a passenger was seen not wearing a seat belt, police said. Police said a strong odor of burned marijuana was detected coming from the car and marijuana roaches were later found in an ashtray and a cigarette box on the floor. In addition, Mr. Kaplan had two outstanding warrants issued by Princeton Borough and Bordentown Township, police said. He later posted $780 in bail on the warrants, police said.
Luis A. Hernandez, 19, of Montgomery was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant issued by Montgomery Township after he was seen walking on Delmarvia Court in the Pike Run area about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, police reported. The officer was aware of the warrant and placed him under arrest, police said, and he was later released after posting $450 in bail.
The steel doors to the bathrooms at Montgomery Park were bent and dented between Dec. 1 and Wednesday, police said. No entry was gained but graffiti was found on one of the doors. Damage was placed at $2,500.
West Windsor
A 13-year-old Trenton resident was charged with shoplifting after he attempted to steal a Samsung Samdisk 2-gigabyte MP3 player from Best Buy in the Nassau Park shopping center at 10:15 p.m. Saturday. He had concealed the player in his pants and attempted to exit the store, police said. It was valued at $100.
A 17-year-old Trenton resident was charged with shoplifting after he removed the packaging from two lighters and a knife at the Wal-Mart store in the Nassau Park shopping center and attempted to exit the store at 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, police reported.
Someone stole the wheels and tires from an Acura parked in a parking lot off Delemere Drive between 1:20 and 9 a.m. Sunday. The owner returned to his car and found it supported by cinder blocks. Taken were four Acura wheels and tires, and gearshift knob from the car, with a total value of $1,250.
Wesley Freiling, 24, of Doylestown, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on southbound Route 1 at Alexander Road at 2:50 a.m. Thursday. Police pulled over Mr. Freiling’s car for motor vehicle violations and found him to be intoxicated, according to the report.

Someone spray-painted a storage door at the Ravens Crest housing development with blue paint sometime before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Someone stole the credit card of a Fox Run Drive resident and used it to make fraudulent purchases sometime before 7:18 p.m. Wednesday. The victim has canceled the credit card, and the case is under investigation.
