BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Larry E. Oesterbo, 78, of Bordentown Township, died Monday.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he resided in Bordentown Township for the past 37 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force serving over 23 years. Following that he was employed by the Acme Market in Bordentown for 25 years as a clerk/cashier.
He was involved with the Bordentown area Boy Scouts. He was one of the first fire commissioners of Derby Fire Company in Bordentown Township, where he was very active as a volunteer firefighter for many years.
Father of the late Chris Oesterbo who died in 1977, and grandfather of the late Carl Klotz, he is survived by his family, his wife Ruth M. Oesterbo of Bordentown Townshp; son, William C. Miller and spouse Marylou of Hamilton; daughter, Paulette Hynes and spouse Jack of Robbinsville; grandchildren, Sean Miller, Jeff Miller and spouse Lynnann Doug Miller and spouse Jenny, Lauren Miller, and Karin Deutsch; nieces Barbara and Robin Holmes, Beth Ann and Gaye Sands, and Christine Oesterbo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday from Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
