Lifelong Princeton resident
Viola Richardson of Princeton died Tuesday at home. She was 97.
Born in Fredericksburg, Va., she was a lifelong Princeton resident.
Mrs. Richardson was a private duty licensed practical nurse.
Daughter of the late John and Amanda Rebecca Davis, wife of the late Burlie Richardson, mother of the late Raymond Richardson, Ralph A. Richardson, Nora R. Banks, and sister of the late Orlean, Erin, Ernest, Dempsey, John, Ralph and Leonard Davis, Pauline Wright, Edith Richardson and Nora Allemao, she is survived by sisters Dimple Taliaferro of Ashland, Va. and Ruth Costa of New Bedford , Mass.; nieces Gloria Alexander of Princeton and Jeanne Costa of New Bedford, Mass.; nephews Manuel Costa of New Bedford, Mass. and Robert and John Sizer, both of Richmond, Va.; great-niece and great-nephew Tonya and Tony Alexander; and several other great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Princeton Cemetery.
