Mr. Caruso, 90, of Manalapan, died March 29, 2008. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as an entertainer for the troops, and was a purchaser for Western Electric in Kearny before retiring. Mr. Caruso was predeceased by his wife, Emma “Terry” in 1992. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Nicholas DeMarco, Donna and Frank Cavallo and Roberta and Edward Blaszczyk; and five grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Marlboro, under the arrangement of the Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River,
