PRINCETON — Advocates for walking and biking are inviting all walkers and cyclists to participate in a "Be Green & Be Seen" rally in Hinds Plaza from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.
Organized by a loose coalition of community organizations, the rally will include events such as bicycle safety clinics, maintenance workshops, music and more. To add additional visibility for the event, all participants are encouraged to dress in green.
Organizations either particpating in or helping to organize the event include: Princeton Township Sidewalk and Bikeway Advisory Committee, Princeton University Office of Sustainability, Sustainable Princeton, Whole Earth Center, West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance, PHS Environmental Action Club, PHS Bicycle Club, and Princeton School Garden Cooperative.
