Robert J. Golden

   WHITING — Robert J. Golden, 76, died April 17, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.
   Born in Windsor, he was a lifelong Washington Township area resident before moving to Whiting 12 years ago.
   An Army veteran of the Korean conflict, Mr. Golden retired as a chief lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light after 32 years.
   A member of the Windsor United Methodist Church, and a lifetime member of the Hightstown VFW, he enjoyed watching wrestling and solving puzzles.
   Son of the late William and Marion Bennett Golden, and brother of the late William and Howard Golden, and Florence Atkinson, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara E. Golden; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Rita Golden of Robbinsville; daughter and companion Kathleen Golden and David Miller of Virginia; grandchildren Alaina and Daniel Golden; sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Edward Riefenstahl of Whiting; brother Donald Golden of Hightstown; sisters-in-law Jeanette Golden of West Windsor, Margaret Golden of Levittown, Pa., Gladys Wright of Whiting and Judith DeBow and her husband, Robbins, of East Earl, Pa.; brother-in-law Arthur Atkinson of Whiting; and many nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held at Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, followed by burial in Fountain Lawn Cemetery, Ewing.
