Princeton Borough
   Following a motor vehicle stop on Spring Street at 12:07 a.m. Monday, Francis Hetmanek, 25, of Highland Park was arrested on an active warrant for contempt from North Brunswick Municipal Court. The accused was transported to borough headquarters, processed and released on a $250 cash bail.
   Following a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street at 9:58 p.m. April 25, Wessah Bestman, 28, of West State Street, Trenton was arrested on outstanding warrants for contempt of court form Princeton Borough Municipal Court. The accused was transported to borough headquarters, processed and committed in default of a $1,180 cash bail.
   Following a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street at 1:22 p.m. Monday, Michael Robert Ford, 25, of Centre Street, Trenton was arrested on outstanding warrants for contempt of court from several jurisdictions. The accused was transported to borough headquarters, processed and turned over to Trenton Police Department on $10,000 cash bail from Trenton Municipal Court.
   Following a motor vehicle stop on Wiggins Street at 1:30 p.m. April 27, Ricardo Lara, 30, of Wessex Place, West Windsor was charged with driving while intoxicated. The accused was transported to borough headquarters, processed and later released on his own recognizance.
Princeton Township
   Aaron C. English, 21, of Division Street, Trenton, was taken into custody on an active court warrant after his car was stopped on Route 206 near Elm Road about 11 a.m. April 22 for an expired registration, police said. He had an active warrant from the City of Trenton for $81 and he later posted the full amount and was released. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and driving an unregistered vehicle.
   Yun-Chieh Huang, 26, of Newberry, Fla., was charged with careless driving and being an unlicensed driver after her 2000 Mercedes ML320 struck the rear of a 1998 Ford Explorer that was stopped in traffic in front of her on Route 206 about 7:42 a.m. Monday, police reported. The driver of the Explorer, Peter Galiano, 35, of Blackwood, complained of neck and back pain and was taken to University Medical Center at Princeton.
Montgomery
   Andrew A. Mackie, 18, of Montgomery was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 206 near Orchard Road about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, police reported. Police said his 2002 Honda was stopped for speeding and marijuana was observed inside the car. The arresting officer also found several packs of rolling papers in the back seat, police said. He was also charged with speeding and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
   A two-car collision was reported at the intersection of Route 206 and Tamarack Circle about 7:33 a.m. Tuesday. A 2005 Nissan driven by Maria McCarthy, 56, of Hillsborough was stopped in traffic when a 1998 Plymouth driven by Katherine Beggiato, 40, of Hillsborough struck the rear of Ms. McCarthy’s car, police said. Damage was minor, there was no report of injury and no summonses were issued, police said.
   Another two-car collision was reported at the intersection of Route 206 and Tamarack Circle about noon Tuesday. Anna Rordilino, 29, of New York City was attempting to turn onto Tamarack Circle from Route 206 in her 2005 Chrysler when a 2008 Mazda driven by Jason Marsalo, 23, of Flemington, pulling out of Tamarack Circle onto Route 206 struck her rear bumper, police said. Ms. Rordilino complained of pain in her back and a headache but declined medical treatment. No summonses were issued.
   Samuel J. Friedman, 20, of Hopewell Township was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one vehicle crash at Route 518 and Springhill Road shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday, police reported. After responding to a report of the crash, police said they found the car had struck a utility police and the driver had fled the area. Mr. Friedman was later found walking on Route 518 by Hopewell Township police and returned to the accident, scene, police said. Police said Mr. Friedman’s 2001 Volkswagen was headed west on Route 518 when it left the roadway and struck the police. No injuries were reported. He was also charged with careless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle — marijuana — leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.
West Windsor
   Benzie Sistrunk, 62, of Piscataway was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane following a traffic stop on southbound Route 1 at Nassau Park Boulevard at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday. He was pulled over for erratic driving and found to be intoxicated, police said.
   Dennis Televie, 36, of Ewing was charged with shoplifting after trying to steal $199 in DVDs from the Wegmans grocery store at Nassau Park shopping center at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday, police reported. Police said he placed the items in his pockets and attempted to exit the store.
   Juan Carlos Santana, 28, of Philadelphia was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, possession of open containers of alcohol in a vehicle, and driving without insurance, following a two-car accident at Carnegie Center Boulevard and Route 1 at 6:41 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Mr. Santana rear-ended another vehicle and was found to be intoxicated.
   An electric bass guitar valued at $3,000 was taken from the Mercer County Community College music room between Feb. 1 and April 23, police said.
   Leonard Lebedinski, 35, of Lawrence was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane following a traffic stop at the Meadow Road and the Route 1 overpass at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday. Police said Mr. Lebedinski was driving erratically and was later found to be intoxicated.
Plainsboro
   A resident of Gulick Lane reported that after filing her taxes she was advised that someone had filed a tax return using her name and Social Security number in Brooklyn, N.Y. It is not known if the Internal Revenue Service issued a check or how much of a refund may have been issued, police said.
   Ranjeep Singh, 23, of North York, Ontario, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Scotts Corner and Dey roads. Police said they saw a Honda Accord drive thorough the intersection with the driver talking on a cell phone. After the stop, police said Mr. Singh was found to be highly intoxicated. He was also charged with possession of an open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle, using a cell phone while driving and reckless driving.
