Robert L. Hutchings, 61, of Princeton was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident on Millstone River Road about 8:51 p.m. Saturday. Police said Mr. Hutchings was southbound on River Road when he lost control of his 1998 BMW, ran off the roadway, and struck a mailbox, fence and tree in front of 297 River Road, near Dead Tree Run Road. He displayed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests, police said. He was also charged with careless driving.
Kudin Aleksandr, 53, of Montgomery was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said they received a report of a man asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle that was parked at the intersection of Burnt Hill Road and Schoolhouse Lane about 9:42 p.m. Saturday. Police said Mr. Aleksandr displayed signs of intoxication after he was awakened and then failed field sobriety tests. He was also charged with improper parking in an intersection.
Kathryn Gurnicz of Montgomery was charged with driving while intoxicated after her 2001 Jeep was stopped on Griggstown Road near Ketchum Road driving on three tires and a rim, police said. Police said an officer observed her jeep after the front left tire burned off in Hillsborough. She failed field sobriety tests, police said. She was also charged with operating an unsafe vehicle and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Amanda D. Miklowcic, 25, of Ringoes stole $267 worth of video games from the Wal-Mart in the Nassau Park shopping center at 5:46 p.m. Friday, police said. She was charged with shoplifting.
Maciej E. Kacmierczak, 24, of Trenton was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and careless driving after being seen driving recklessly doing “donuts” with his vehicle in the P.F. Chang’s restaurant near the MarketFair at 12:38 a.m. Saturday, police said.
