Mammograms for Mother’s Day

Rochelle Hammer, NJ Race for the Cure, Plainsboro
How special are Moms? Their lives are very precious and dear to us. They cuddle us when we are little. They smile and bring happiness and laughter to our lives and provide positive and encouraging words as we grow up.
That is why on Mother’s Day, after you hug your Mom, tell her how much you care about her – how much she means to you – and have a mammogram. Because early detection saves lives! Just do it – in fact, tell all the women in your life – Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, friends, colleagues, neighbors – about the importance of early detection and to have a mammogram.
Too often, Mothers, primary caregivers and helpers forget to take care of themselves. Children and others depend on these precious women and they need to stay healthy.
