Jack J. Ricciardi

Mr. Ricciardi, 82, of the Dayton section of South Brunswick, died May 6, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed as district director of immigration for New York with the U.S. Justice Department Special Strike Force, retiring in 1978. Prior to that, he was employed with the U.S. Border Patrol, Texas. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Ricciardi. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria Pietrangelo Ricciardi; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and James Meraglia of Dayton; a son and daughter-inlaw, John and Barbara Ricciardi of Ormond Beach, Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vincent and Dorothy of Staten Island, N.Y., and Joseph and Gloria of West Windsor; a sister and brother-in-law, Carmella and Harold Boyle of Colts Neck; a sister-in-law, Elaine Ricciardi of Jamesburg; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grandnephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. Entombment was at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island. Arrangements were by M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe Township.
