SOFTBALL
Lisa Faraci had a single, double, walk and three RBI and Sarah DiLella had a single and scored the winning run in Peddie’s 6-0 win over Hun last Thursday in the NJISAA Prep A championship game.
BOYS TRACK & FIELD
Mike Brennan took fourth in the 400 hurdles (64.8), fifth in the 110 hurdles (17.2) and part of the second-place 4×400 relay team (3:37.8) in helping Princeton to the unofficial sophomore team title of the Spartan Invitational Meet for Sophomores and Freshmen. Drew Reifinger (109-9) and Omar Yousef (108-3) were 4-5 in the discus, and Yousef (39-10) and Reifinger (39-10) were 4-5 in the shot.
Lawrenceville’s Tommy Sorrentino took fourth in the 16000 in 4:47.5.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Kate Henderson had two goals and an assist and Corey Henderson added a goal in Princeton’s 18-3 win over Middle Township in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group II Tournament Saturday. Maddie O’Meara had six saves in goal while Devin Chambers added one.
Taylor Blair had two goals in the Little Tigers 17-9 loss to Hopewell Valley in a second-round state game Tuesday. O’Meara made six saves.
Carly O’Brien scored two goals to help Princeton Day School to a 15-10 win over Stuart in the Mercer County Tournament semifinals last Thursday, then added a goal in the Panthers 14-9 loss to Hopewell Valley in the title game.
BOYS GOLF
Jon Bichsel carded a 37-48-82 and Curtis Smith added a 41-43-84 to lead Princeton to first place in NJSIAA Group III, and sixth place overall at the par-71 Beacon Hill Country Club in Atlantic Highlands. Smith shot 21 in five holes and Bichsel 23 in a rain—shortened, 111-148 win over Hamilton Wednesday.
Peddie’s Max Bichsel shot a 78 to finish tied for third in the NJISAA Prep A championship
GIRLS GOLF
Kylie Bichsel shot a 59 in Princeton’s 207-227 loss to Montgomery last Thursday.
TENNIS
Nikhil Lakhanpal helped Peddie to second place in the NJISAA Prep A tournament as his second doubles team reached the championship round before losing.
BOYS CREW
Cameron Orcutt rowed on the Varsity 8 for Mercer Junior Rowing Club, which finished third in the Northeast Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition at Mercer Lake last Sunday. The third-place finish qualified the boat for a trip to the Nationals in Cincinnati on June 14-15.
Matt Johnson was on the First Varsity boat that finished second to Lawrenceville in the Brown Cup.
GIRLS CREW
Erin Hawes was the second seat in the first-place, First Varsity boat, which finished in 5:37.1, in helping Peddie beat Lawrenceville in the Brown Cup at Mercer Lake May 11. Elinor Silverman was on the second-place Third Varsity boat.
