Hillsborough Senior Chapter “A” bus trip open to the public on July 25 to enjoy “1776 A Musical” at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Depart at 9:30 a.m. from the Pathmark parking lot. Calling all grandparents. Due to a large number of inquiries, a grandparents’ support group is now forming for any interested grandparent. It will encompass areas such as lack of contact, estrangement, general issues and other topics of interest to the group. If you are a grandparent and are interested in sharing concerns with others, call Counseling and Therapy Services weekdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 218-9062.

Single Mothers Helping Single Mothers A new support group for single mothers meets at Chuck E. Cheese Pizza in the Bridgewater Promenade the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The group’s goal is to become the best parents possible through education, group support, group discussion and net-working. Raritan Valley Automobile Club car show from 6 to 8 p.m. June 6 at 39 Anderson Street in Raritan. Ticket price is $35. The proceeds from the event will benefit Women’s Health and Counseling Center, a non-profit provider of health care for women located in Somerville. Local photographer Michael Kehl will exhibit and sell His collection of classic car images at the event. Mr. Kehl will donate 40 percent of his art sale to Women’s Health & Counseling Center. A 1966 Corvette, a Bentley Continental GT, and a Porsche 911S will be on display. There will be a 50/50. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and drinks for purchase. Flag retirement ceremony will be conducted June 14 as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Hillsborough Boy Scout Troop 89.
