Join other artists in local parks and private gardens for an afternoon of painting plein air.
Artists must bring all materials, such as chairs and water for painting. Artists may set up wherever they like and paints on their own. No registration is necessary.
All paintings created during Art in the Park may be submitted for a juried exhibit held in December in the Gourgaud Gallery.
Art in the Park will run on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. in Cranbury.
Future Art in the Park dates are June 29, July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 14.

Monroe Township public schools are seeking to identify resident students between 3 years old and 21 years old who may exhibit difficulties with cognition, emotions, language, mobility, voice, hearing, visual acuity, or suffer from physical limitations from orthopedic or muscular abnormalities.

Through the end of May, The Kiddie Academy, Route 130, is offering two free programs to the children of Cranbury and its surrounding areas.
Power Play, for 3 and 4 year olds, is a six-week program that focuses on reading, handwriting and math.
Two’s Time will introduce 2 year olds to the school experience with snacks, circle time, crafts, friends and more.

The Jamesburg Child Care Program will be offering a summer-
camp program, which is sponsored by the Jamesburg Board of Education and offers recreational activities, summer fun and quality childcare from June 30 through Aug. 22. Camp is held at the John F. Kennedy School, located on Front Street. Children can be dropped off as early as 7 a.m. and picked up as late as 6 p.m.
The program is structured to provide summer fun and keep children active. A variety of activities will keep everyone busy, even on rainy days. Arts and crafts, games, sports, special contests, computers and music are all part of the fun.
The staff consists of certified teachers, a certified nurse and experienced counselors who closely supervise children at all times. Safety is always the priority.
Children either between 4½ and 12½ years old or are in kindergarten through seventh grade are welcome. Residency is not a requirement and non-residents of Jamesburg are welcome to attend.
Children may be registered weekly or daily with no minimum number of weeks or days required. We even offer half-day programs. Parents have the flexibility to design their own programs with any combination of weeks or days.
