Kids can learn on field trips

Monika Bielen, Sunnymead School
Do you believe that kids in grades pre-kindergarten through the eighth-grade should have more field trips? Well, I do.
First of all, kids will be willing to learn information that is fun and educational. For example, some kids don’t pay attention during school.
Additionally, some kids pick stuff along with talking. For example, kids have erasers, in their desk, etc.
Furthermore, if it’s something fun and educational they’ll do it.
Secondly, kids will get better grades like A’s and B’s. Kids will get these grades because they won’t pick stuff during class.
Most importantly, some kids can’t go with their parents. For example, kids can’t go to the farms, sculpture places, zoos, and theme parks. Some kids can’t go places with their parents because the parents don’t have the money.
Also, some parents don’t have the time to go places. I believe that kids in pre-kindergarten through the eighth-grade should have the opportunity to go on more field trips to have fun.
