Two members of Red Bank Elks Lodge 233 were recently acknowledged for dedication to the lodge. Officer of the Year is Eileen Brennan-Watts, treasurer for the past two years, and now the lodge’s loyal knight. Named Elk of the Year was Fred “Butch” DellaPietro, the chairman of the Special Needs Committee for the past 18 years. His “special children” receive gifts from Santa at Christmas, and he also sent 26 special-needs children to the Elks’ Camp Moore in 2007.
The lodge’s exalted ruler, William Turegano, has presented a $400 donation to George Lancaster of Red Bank Lunch Break to help cover the cost of feeding those in need.
