Zabeth E. Maksymovich, 83, died Thursday at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington.
Born in Hopewell, Mrs. Maksymovich was a lifelong resident. She worked for Rockwell Manufacturing Co. in Hopewell for many years.
Mrs. Maksymovich enjoyed volunteering for various organizations of which she was a member, including: Princeton Elks Lodge 2129, Hopewell Leisure Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hopewell Fire Department and Emergency Medical Unit, and Hopewell Valley American Legion Auxiliary Unit 339.
Preceded in death by her parents James and Salena Sutphen, and her granddaughter Grier Maksymovich, she is survived by her husband Michael Maksymovich; sons David, Jay, and Walter; a daughter Marie Drake; a sister Evelyn Whitlock; brothers Claude and Doug Sutphen; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell, with an Elks Service at 7:30 p.m. and funeral service at 8 p.m. Cremation will be held privately.
