JAMESBURG — The circus is coming next week to the John F. Kennedy School.
The Alain Zerbini Family Circus will be making its seventh appearance in the borough Thursday, with shows running from 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., rain or shine.
”It’s a 90-minute show that will feature a number of acts that will be fun for the entire family,” said booking agent Stephanie Wayt.
The circus will feature clowns, jugglers, a trampoline act, camels, ponies and the spinning wheel of destiny.
”We will also have a dog pound review,” Ms. Wayt said. “This will feature a trained dog act consisting of dogs rescued from the pound.”
Pony and camel rides will be available before the show and during intermission.
The show is being sponsored by the Gray Rock Supply Company and will provide funds for the Jamesburg Civic Association’s community projects. Current projects include providing American flags to line East and West Railroad avenues, three scholarships presented to graduating Jamesburg seniors at Monroe Township High School, and two citizenship awards presented to graduating eighth-graders at Grace M. Breckwedel School, according to Margaret Czapiga, of the Civic Association.
Advance ticket sales are available at $10 for four tickets, with additional tickets available for $5 each. Tickets are on sale at Barbara’s Antiques at 35 W. Railroad Ave., PNC Bank at 36 W. Railroad Ave. and Gray Rock Supply Company at 64 W. Railroad Ave.
Advance sale tickets will be available until noon Thursday. Tickets purchased at the gate are $10 each. Children age 3 and under do not require a ticket.
”It’s a good, old-fashioned family show that’s good for kids from age 2 to 92,” Ms. Wayt said. “It’s a great show of wholesome family entertainment.”
