Princeton Township
Matthew J. Norcross, 49, of Jefferson Road was charged with driving while intoxicated and a number of drug charges after his car was stopped on Jefferson Road near his home about 7 p.m. Saturday, police said. Police said they were notified by Lawrence police that a driver was headed toward Princeton who was possibly intoxicated and the gray Volkswagen was later stopped on Jefferson Road. Police said during the investigation Mr. Norcross was found to be in possession of heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. In addition to driving while intoxicated, he was charged with reckless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was later released to a friend.
Montgomery
Two Hoover Avenue residents reported that three vehicles were stuck by raw eggs Saturday night. The residents were able to wash off the eggs and no monetary damage was reported, police said.
A Taft Court resident reported that her residence was struck by a raw egg Saturday night. The egg was washed off and not monetary damage was reported.
Two residents of Muirhead Court reported that their mailboxes were knocked off their posts Saturday night. Damage was estimated at $50 and $100 for the two mailboxes.
West Windsor
Two area men and a juvenile were charged with various alcohol-related offenses stemming from a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Park Boulevard at 8:20 p.m. Saturday. After stopping the vehicle for speeding, police said they charged a passenger in the car, Kurt Hoedl, 20, of Shadwell Court, with underage consumption of alcohol. Police said they found the driver, Brian Luther, 20, of Plainsboro, to be intoxicated and charged him with underage driving while intoxicated and underage consumption of alcohol. A 16-year-old female juvenile who was also in the vehicle was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
William Grossett, 22, of New York City was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane following a motor vehicle stop at 3 a.m. Monday on northbound Route 1 and Meadow Road.
Brett Marini, 22, of Hamilton, was charged with theft after he stole jewelry from a home he was doing electric work in on Millstone Road, police said. Police said they first received a report of the theft on June 4, when the victim noticed jewelry missing from a jewelry box in the master bedroom.
Two men were charged with possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Quakerbridge Road and Avalon Way at 2 a.m. Saturday. The driver was Thomas Marchese, 30, of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., whose car was stopped for failing to observe a signal, police said. Also arrested was Nicholas Clugsten, 28, of Hamilton.
