Edward G. Trilby

Mr. Trilby, 74, of Freehold Township, died June 1, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. A U.S. Army veteran, he was an ironworker for Anchor Wire Works, Union City, before his retirement. Mr. Trilby was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy A. Trilby, in 1965. Surviving are his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Malloy Trilby; two sons, Robert E. Trilby of Freehold and Edward F. Trilby of Jackson; three daughters, Karen A. Trilby of Marietta, Ga., KerriA. Ganley of Freehold, and Kelly A. Doherty of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; a sister, Marietta Lang of East Brunswick; two halfbrothers, Raymond Gordon of Pineville, Miss., and Larry Gordon of California; and four grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Arrangements were by Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
