Mrs. Carotenuto, 79, of Holmdel, died May 29, 2008, at home. She resided in Red Bank, and the Belford section of Middletown prior to relocating to Holmdel 35 years ago. She was predeceased by a sister, Harriett Paterson.Mrs. Carotenuto is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Carotenuto; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol and Michael Bowie of Middletown, and Debra Prusek of Little Silver; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert Carotenuto of Highlands, Mark and Bonnie Carotenuto of Clarksburg, and Michael and Linda Carotenuto of New Marlboro, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
