Mr. St. John, 89, a resident of Manalapan for 38 years, died June 2, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He served in the U.S. Army duringWorldWar II and was a senior director for NYNEX in New York City, retiring in 1988.Mr. St. John was predeceased by his wife, Bernice, in 1992. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine andWilliam Richards of Manalapan; a brother, Armand St. John and his wife, Millie, of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brotherin law, Anthony Jenette, and his wife, Tina, of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Mary St. John of Yonkers, N.Y., and Dorothy St. John of Queens, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church in Manalapan followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum in Marlboro. Arrangements were by the Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan.
